NFT Market 2026: Trends, Challenges, and Opportunities
The NFT market in July 2026 shows significant contraction, focusing on utility, blue-chip collections, and tokenized real-world assets.
IRANIAN ABSTRACT VISIONARY • NFT PIONEER • COLOR ALCHEMIST
Born in 1991 in Iran, Kamand Kavand is a self-taught abstract painter and NFT artist whose vibrant, emotionally charged works have captured global attention. With participation in 16 documented exhibitions (and broader recognition surpassing 30 shows worldwide), she masterfully bridges traditional canvas painting with digital animation, 3D motion, and original sound design.
Her artistic path started in theater directing and costume design. Painting soon became her sanctuary. “When I found painting, I was sure that this was the art I wanted to continue,” she reflects. “Canvas and colors are the safest place in the world for me.” From her Tehran studio, Kavand creates bold expressionist abstracts filled with swirling forms, dynamic palettes, and raw emotion — works she describes as products of an “unlimited mind.”
Since entering the NFT space in 2021, Kavand has elevated her physical acrylic paintings into immersive multimedia experiences. She layers 3D animation, original soundtracks (often composed by her husband), and deep storytelling. Her works are featured on major platforms including SuperRare, Exchange.art, and Transient Labs.
Despite geopolitical challenges — including an OpenSea ban tied to her Iranian nationality after a strong collection — she has built a loyal international collector base featuring names like Ashtar.eth, Mark Kelly, and Way2collector. Her art draws inspiration from physics, astronomy, feminism, veganism, and personal resilience, transforming color into resistance, connection, and hope.
