1inch puts reDeFine Money on Written with ten NFT-cover editions

1inch just moved a DeFi oral history onto an NFT-aware bookstore: on September 30 the aggregator’s blog said reDeFine Money is live digitally on Written, a blockchain publishing venue that can mint each copy’s provenance onchain. The standard digital edition is priced at US$9.99; ten limited copies ship with unique NFT covers at US$149.99 each. 1inch says it will donate 100% of the revenue it receives from those Written digital sales to charity. That is today’s unused Marketplace Watch beat—venue pricing, edition caps, and onchain provenance for a book that already had a limited print run at ETHConf NY in June 2026—not another Bitget reopen chapter and not another ESMA MiCA wrap.

What Written is selling versus what collectors should not invent. Andrew Baev, Written’s CEO, frames the drop as form matching content: a DeFi history released as books that can exist as non-fungible tokens recording provenance. Sergej Kunz, 1inch co-founder, says the oral history pulls back the curtain on builders’ decisions “the good, the bad and the ugly,” while routing sale proceeds into “something positive” for the next generation. The company blog does not publish a named charity legal entity in the Written post itself, does not claim secondary-market floors for the ten NFT covers, and does not invent that every standard $9.99 copy must be an NFT—only that Written can record provenance onchain and that ten limited covers are NFT editions.

Who is in the book and why the venue matters for NFT desks. reDeFine Money is billed as a first-person oral history featuring founders and builders from Aave, Curve, 1inch, MakerDAO, PancakeSwap, SushiSwap, Dragonfly, Dune and other DeFi teams—named voices include Kunz and Anton Bukov, Stani Kulechov, Michael Egorov, Rune Christensen, Fredrik Haga, Kain Warwick, and Eowyn Chen. The through-line is DeFi as infrastructure rather than a fad, with a hard look at the 2022 crash when centralized intermediaries failed while many protocols kept running. Baev’s quote stresses that Written’s model is “not an experiment but the foundation” of the platform, which is the marketplace angle: provenance-backed editions sold through a bookstore rail instead of a seasonal mint page. For collectors, the buy button that matters tonight is Written’s dual SKU—cheap digital plus a capped NFT-cover tier—not a new L2 mint calendar.

Access paths 1inch already promised. Readers who previously signed up for a free PDF are supposed to get an email explaining how to open the book on Written; physical copies remain available at events where 1inch shows up. That split—digital bookstore SKUs tonight, print still event-only—is the product map collectors should keep straight when comparing edition scarcity. Secondary desks such as Crypto Economy timed wraps near 18:50 UTC on September 30, which is outside a strict last-six-hours Los Angeles window from tonight’s tick—so treat those as confirmation of the primary blog, not as a second scoop. Daily Crypto Brief draft 10376 stays untouched. Desk of the Day is already spent for September 30 (10355)—no DotD line.

What not to invent for bids. Do not invent that the ten NFT covers are already sold out, listed on OpenSea, or trading at a stated floor. Do not invent a royalty schedule, chain ID, or contract address that 1inch’s Written post does not publish. Do not claim the charity destination is a named foundation unless 1inch names it in a primary update. Do not fold this into Magic Eden Payment Processor V2 recovery, Credits Statement assembly, or Bitget Protection Fund chapters—those are separate trails with their own receipts. Treat secondary charity-name flash posts as unverified until they appear on 1inch.com or Written’s own listing copy.

Venue watch: watch whether Written shows the ten NFT-cover SKUs as still available, whether 1inch names the charity recipient in a follow-up post, and whether any marketplace indexes the limited covers once collectors start transferring provenance-backed copies off the bookstore rail.

Bottom line: 1inch put reDeFine Money on Written at $9.99 digitally with ten NFT-cover editions at $149.99, pledging 100% of its Written digital-sale revenue to charity.
