ARK Puts Robinhood Chain Near $51M Q3 Revenue Ahead of HOOD Earnings

Robinhood Markets reports third-quarter results on October 27, and the tape that matters for NFT and marketplace desks is not just HOOD’s brokerage lines — it is the first earnings package that covers a full public quarter of Robinhood Chain. ARK Invest’s third-quarter 2026 DeFi Quarterly put the chain’s network revenue near $51 million in that debut operating window, ahead of Ethereum’s roughly $41 million over the same stretch as Ethereum network revenue fell about 35% quarter over quarter. TokenPost’s on-chain fee read for the chain’s first 92 days sits near $51.11 million, with nearly 80% of that haul concentrated in September and about $45.93 million (roughly 89.9%) attributed to Robinhood versus about 10% to the Arbitrum ecosystem. Treat those as secondary ARK and TokenPost tallies, not as Robinhood’s audited GAAP line items until the company files.

Volume context is why mint desks care. ARK’s dataset ranked Robinhood Chain fourth by decentralized-exchange volume in the quarter at about $65 billion, including roughly $13.7 billion in tokenized equities — behind BNB Chain’s about $16.5 billion tokenized-equity print but still a heavy institutional corridor for a network whose public mainnet only opened July 1. Across the networks ARK tracked, combined network revenue rose about 24% from the second quarter to about $349 million, the first quarterly increase in five quarters, even while sitting about 47% below the year-earlier level. Solana’s recovery and Robinhood Chain’s debut were named as drivers of that rebound. Ethereum’s share of tokenized real-world assets slipped from about 50% in late June to about 44% while still holding the largest absolute volume near $16.7 billion.

The earnings question is how much of that sequencer and fee tape lands on Robinhood’s income statement. The company’s second-quarter SEC language already framed Chain revenue as dependent on adoption, developer activity, network usage, and gas pricing. Coinbase’s Base sequencer fees offer a public peer pattern — booked inside other transaction revenue in prior quarters — but HOOD has never reported a quarter with public Robinhood Chain live. Monday’s HOOD tape near $101.9 (down about 11.5% year to date in one secondary print) is mood, not proof of how management will disclose L2 economics tomorrow.

ARK’s caution is the counterweight desks should keep next to the headline. The firm said it does not expect Robinhood Chain to keep posting such impressive revenue numbers after a recent gas-target increase removes congestion-driven fee spikes. TokenPost’s concentration of nearly 80% of the first-ninety-two-day fee haul into September is consistent with a congestion-era print that may cool even if NFT free-mint throughput and tokenized-stock books stay busy. Ethereum still settles the chain and collects a thin ETH gas slice — TokenPost put Ethereum settlement costs near $69,000 across that window — so L1 fee retention and L2 front-end capture can diverge without either number being “fake.”

For collectors and marketplace operators on Robinhood Chain, tomorrow’s call is about whether management names Chain contribution, gas-policy changes, and developer activity as durable or one-off. Free-mint waves, Founding Member launches, and tokenized-equity books all burn gas and sequencer capacity; they do not automatically equal GAAP revenue share. Do not treat ARK’s $51 million network-revenue comparison as Robinhood’s recognized Chain revenue until the filing or prepared remarks say so. Do not invent a permanent “Robinhood Chain beat Ethereum forever” narrative from a single debut quarter that ARK itself flags as likely to moderate.

Keep this chapter separate from earlier weekly app-fee and meme-volume Ape Index wires on Robinhood Chain. Those were short-window marketplace fee prints; today’s beat is the first full-quarter network-revenue frame into a public-company earnings date. Attribution stays with ARK’s DeFi Quarterly as relayed by TheCryptoDesk and Bitcoin Foundation News, plus TokenPost’s ninety-two-day fee decomposition. Absolute dollar figures can shift between ARK’s rounded $51 million and TokenPost’s $51.11 million — name the source when citing either.

Tape watch: Watch tomorrow’s HOOD Q3 package for any explicit Robinhood Chain revenue or sequencer disclosure, whether management echoes ARK’s congestion-fee fade warning after the gas-target change, and whether tokenized-equity and NFT mint activity stay in the forward guidance as adoption drivers rather than one-quarter noise.

Bottom line: ARK’s ~$51 million Robinhood Chain Q3 network-revenue print — ahead of Ethereum’s ~$41 million — sets the tape into HOOD’s October 27 earnings, with TokenPost’s ~$51.11 million / September-heavy fee read and ARK’s congestion-fade warning as the necessary caveats.
