Binance Opens PREDICTUSDT Pre-Market Perps as Token Swings About 20%

Binance Futures put a new degen tape on the board Sunday when it opened PREDICTUSDT pre-market perpetual trading for Predict.fun’s PREDICT token. The exchange’s support announcement for the USDⓈ-margined contract sets the live window on October 25, 2026, with up to 5x leverage, 24/7 hours, Multi-Assets Mode supported, and settlement in USDT. Binance describes Predict as a prediction market on BNB Chain and lists total and maximum supply at 1,000,000,000 PREDICT. Tick size is 0.0001, minimum trade size is 1 PREDICT, and minimum notional is 5 USDT. That is a listing of a project token perpetual — not a yes/no market on an election or sports outcome — and Binance’s standard futures language still separates a futures launch from any promise of a Binance spot listing.

The day-one print is what lands this on Ape Index. A NexuAlpha read of Binance’s public futures data at about 10:03 UTC — roughly an hour and fifty minutes after the 08:15 UTC open — puts first-two-hour volume near 4.86 million USDT across 71,485 trades. The high printed 1.7652 USDT, the low 1.4120 USDT, last near 1.6002 USDT, and mark near 1.6137 USDT. Open interest sat around 448,630 PREDICT, roughly 0.72 million USDT at the mark. The first hour did most of the work: about 3.7 million USDT traded as price ran from roughly 1.62 to 1.7652, then fell to 1.412 — about a 20% high-to-low slide — before recovering toward 1.58 into the hour close. The second hour cooled to about 1.1 million USDT inside roughly 1.5735–1.701. Attribute those tape figures to that public-data snapshot, not to a later evening print.

Pre-market rules explain why the swing matters. During this phase Binance calculates mark from the average of the last 10 seconds of contract trades, refreshed every second, instead of a spot-derived index. Funding during pre-market is capped at +0.005% every four hours; after pre-market ends, the notice allows standard bounds of +2.00% / −2.00% per interval. The contract is meant to convert gradually into a standard perpetual once Binance can derive a stable spot index; open orders and positions stay active through that transition while the mark formula converges. At 5x, a move a little under 20% against an isolated position is already liquidation weather once fees and maintenance sit in — and that is roughly the high-to-low range the first hour already printed. Thin open interest near $0.72 million also means a handful of size orders can move the book either way.

Context for collectors stays secondary but real. Prediction-market venues have been a recurring Marketplace and wallet beat — including Phantom’s Kalshi rollout already covered earlier this week — while this chapter is specifically the CEX perpetual tape on the Predict.fun token. Do not collapse a futures mark into an NFT floor forecast, and do not treat a pre-market print as a circulating-market capitalization: at the ~1.61 USDT mark, a one-billion max supply is only arithmetic against total supply, not a claim about unlocked float. NexuAlpha also notes that OKX, Bitget, and Bybit public APIs showed no PREDICT perpetual at the same 10:03 UTC check, so Binance was the main large-venue reference early Sunday. Copy trading is listed as arriving within 24 hours of launch on the Binance notice — watch that as product plumbing, not as proof of spot.

For NFT and crypto desks watching bid-currency weather, Sunday’s wider spot backdrop still sits near the soft $80k Bitcoin handle from Friday’s ETF wrap, while this PREDICTUSDT open is a separate speculative sleeve: leveraged exposure to a BNB-chain prediction-market token before Binance spot exists. Unused versus prior Ape Index chapters on Hyperliquid testnet priority and Friday Bitcoin ETF flows, and unused versus Phantom/Kalshi marketplace coverage — the new fact is the Binance pre-market contract live with day-one volume and a roughly 20% first-hour range.

Tape watch: Watch whether PREDICTUSDT open interest holds above the early ~$0.72 million mark, whether funding stays at the pre-market 0.005% print or Binance shortens the interval, and whether any official spot index announcement starts the gradual conversion that would change mark and liquidation math for open positions.

Bottom line: Binance Futures opened PREDICTUSDT pre-market perpetuals Sunday at up to 5x, and the first roughly two hours printed about 4.9 million USDT of volume with a high-to-low swing near 20% before any Binance spot listing.
