Binance Tracked Assets Fall About $13.8 Billion as Zero-Knowledge PoR Slips to Nov. 3

Binance’s tracked exchange-asset stack is smaller in dollar terms as the venue waits on a delayed zero-knowledge proof of reserves. Matched TokenPost readings put Binance-tracked assets at about $142.926 billion on Oct. 29 UTC and about $129.109 billion on Nov. 2 UTC — a drop of roughly $13.817 billion ahead of the postponed reserve proof. The same desk notes that figure measures tracked wallet value change, not a clean customer-withdrawal tally, and that token prices can move the dollar total.

A parallel DefiLlama wrap cited by Bitcoin.com News puts the tracked stack near $144.9 billion on Oct. 29 and about $128.3 billion early Nov. 2 — closer to a $16.6 billion decline, or nearly 12%. Both reads sit in the same overnight window. Neither replaces Binance’s own phase-one cash-flow print from Sunday, when the exchange said it processed about $4.649 billion in withdrawals and $1.01 billion in deposits between 06:00 and 15:30 UTC Nov. 1 for a net outflow near $3.64 billion (~2.1% of a $171 billion Oct. 28 AUM reference) — the beat we already filed in 15362.

The reserve-proof calendar slipped with it. Co-CEO Richard Teng had pointed at a full PoR by Nov. 2. Binance’s recovery update now targets the full zero-knowledge proof by Tuesday, Nov. 3 (UTC), citing about 40 to 50 hours of computation. The only public reserve data remains the Oct. 31, 00:00 UTC snapshot (taken 8 p.m. ET Oct. 30), which Binance said showed ten major assets fully backed after the hack — a photograph taken before the phase-one withdrawal wave finished reshaping the tracked stack.

Context still binds the settlement desk to the incident arithmetic. Binance estimated the Oct. 29 hot-wallet compromise near $6.3 billion, said it would cover the financial impact, and by Nov. 1 reported about 95% of affected assets covered while reopening withdrawals in phases across an initial set of networks and assets. Covering users is not the same as recovering stolen coins, and a tracked-asset dollar drop is not the same as a Merkle-leaf proof that every liability is counted.

On-chain flow wraps keep stressing that most of the post-reopen money did not simply hop to rival CEXs. Bitcoin.com News, citing Whale Factor, said Binance lost about $4.5 billion over 24 hours while the next ten exchanges together absorbed roughly $368 million — leaving the bulk of outflows in private wallets or other destinations. That is useful color for settlement rails, not a substitute for Binance’s own PoR leaf check once the zk file lands.

Phase-one reopen still leaves residual rails dark. Critics continue to argue that only a slice of listed assets is withdrawable while names such as HYPE remain closed; Binance has said additional assets will open when ready and has not dated the next phase in the sources used here. NFT and crypto desks that settle through Binance corridors therefore still face a split book: major phase-one assets movable, everything else pending an unpublished schedule.

For the living Binance Security Incident tracker, today’s primary is the twin print of a smaller tracked-asset dollar stock and a one-day slip on the zk PoR promise — not a new post-mortem and not a claim that reserves failed a 1:1 test. The Oct. 31 snapshot is still the last official photograph; Nov. 3 is the next dated proof window.

Settlement watch: Wait for Binance’s Nov. 3 UTC zero-knowledge PoR publish, then check whether users can verify Merkle leaves against the post-withdrawal book — and whether the next withdrawal-phase asset list lands with dated rails rather than another “when ready” line.

Bottom line: Binance’s tracked assets print about $13.8 billion lower from Oct. 29 to Nov. 2 on TokenPost’s matched readings while the full zero-knowledge PoR slips to Nov. 3 UTC.
