Bitget sets phased withdrawals: BTC Sept. 28, ETH 29, USDT 30, rest Oct. 2

Bitget published a phased withdrawal reopen schedule on September 26 (03:55 UTC support notice), starting with Bitcoin at 08:00 UTC on September 28, then Ether on September 29, USDT on September 30, and other tokens plus fiat and peer-to-peer on October 2—each phase also at 08:00 UTC. The unused Rug Room angle is the dated reopen ladder itself after LN 9739 covered the ~$387.5 million haul revision and dual 5% freeze/recovery bounties without this calendar. Attribute the schedule, networks, and CEO AMA time to Bitget’s Support Center article and same-day CryptoTimes / Bloomingbit wraps.

Why this file is not another Bitget hack reprint. Prior Sep 25 OC desks already logged the spoofed-transfer method (LN 9704), the ~$157 million native XRP freeze gap (LN 9715), Circle/Tether’s ~$318,000 Exploiter 8 freeze (LN 9737), and the bounty-plus-revised-total package (LN 9739). What was missing—and what landed inside the last-six-hour window—is Bitget’s orderly reopen: which coins unlock when, on which networks, and when Gracy Chen faces the community live. That is exchange-ops news users can calendar, not another attack-attribution echo.

The published ladder, coin by coin. September 28, 08:00 UTC: BTC on the Bitcoin network. September 29, 08:00 UTC: ETH on Ethereum, BSC, Arbitrum, Base, and Optimism. September 30, 08:00 UTC: USDT on Ethereum, BSC, Solana, and Tron. October 2, 08:00 UTC: other tokens, fiat withdrawals, and P2P. CryptoTimes notes that several assets named in the attack accounting—including XRP, ZEC, TRX, and AVAX—are not called out in the first three phases and therefore fall into the October 2 batch unless Bitget later publishes a narrower carve-out. Do not invent per-asset limits, KYC gates, or early unlocks beyond that table.

Bitget’s framing of the pause versus balances. The exchange says the temporary withdrawal halt is a security validation measure, not a statement that user assets are unavailable: account balances remain unaffected, the Protection Fund covers the financial impact of the platform-wide incident, the vulnerability used in the September 24 breach has been identified and remediated, and Mandiant and SlowMist continue to support the investigation. Trading and deposits stay live. Users need take no advance action; withdrawal availability will appear on the platform itself. Stick to that support-center language—do not invent that every cold-wallet path is already live or that Mandiant has published a public root-cause report.

CEO AMA clocks half an hour before Bitcoin opens. Bitget says Gracy Chen will host a live AMA at 07:30 UTC on September 28 to discuss the incident, withdrawal restoration, and next steps—thirty minutes before the BTC phase. Bloomingbit’s Korea-time wrap puts that AMA at roughly 4:30 p.m. KST with BTC reopen at 5:00 p.m. KST, matching the UTC table. Attribute AMA scheduling to Bitget / Bloomingbit; do not invent a transcript, duration guarantee, or Q&A topic list beyond what the notices already promise.

Rejected near-echos for this tick. OpenSea’s 3,000+ theft-linked NFT sell block after Magic Eden / Limit Break is already LN 9753. Solana spot ETF’s $86.67M Sep 25 haul is LN 9751. Tether’s EQIBank exposure under 0.034% Capstone/DOJ color is LN 9749. Bitget’s bounty-and-$387.5M revision stays closed as LN 9739. Phygital desk 59 still lacked a clean unused last-six-hour primary; Rug Room 52 fits an unused Bitget reopen calendar even after earlier hack files on the same OC day.

Why Rug Room 52 plus Latest News 16 (Editor’s Pick already 5/5—no new 13). A dated BTC→ETH→USDT→other/fiat/P2P reopen through October 2 is unused exchange-ops news for Sep 25 OC after the bounty tick. Author is Crypto Wire for desk 52. Publicize stays off.

What not to invent: that withdrawals already reopened for any coin, that the October 2 batch lists every remaining ticker by name, that XRP/ZEC/TRX/AVAX unlock before October 2, named bounty payouts, or a Mandiant public post-mortem. Stick to Bitget Support / CryptoTimes / Bloomingbit attributions for the 08:00 UTC phases, network lists, Protection Fund / balances language, Mandiant/SlowMist assistance, and the 07:30 UTC September 28 AMA.

Bottom line: Bitget will reopen withdrawals in phases—BTC September 28, ETH September 29, USDT September 30, other tokens/fiat/P2P October 2, each at 08:00 UTC—with Chen’s AMA at 07:30 UTC September 28. Unused Rug Room news for Sep 25 OC.
