Bitwise NEAR ETF clears NYSE Arca listing under ticker NRR with 0.75% fee

Bitwise Investment Advisers cleared another crypto product onto U.S. exchange rails on September 25: the Bitwise NEAR ETF is cleared to list and trade on NYSE Arca under ticker NRR, with its S-1 registration described as effective under Section 12(b) of the Exchange Act. Desk notes from Coinpedia (timestamped 11:17 UTC) and CoinGape frame the listing clearance as the first spot exchange-traded fund linked to Near Protocol tokens held by the trust—not a guarantee that shares are already trading. ChainCatcher’s SEC-filing wrap adds that Bitwise submitted a Form 8-A registration statement, signed September 24 by Bitwise COO Teddy Fusaro, to register common beneficial certificates on NYSE Arca after an S-1 path dated around mid-September. Attribute listing-clearance and fee language to those desk notes and the disclosed registration text—not as an SEC “investment merits” blessing.

Product terms the registration-facing coverage emphasizes. The sponsor states a 0.75% management fee and intends to stake 100% of the trust’s NEAR holdings under normal circumstances, with staking expenses equal to 33% of additional NEAR generated by staking, per registration language reprinted by CoinGape. Primary objective language seeks exposure to the value of NEAR held by the trust less expenses; secondary objective language seeks additional NEAR through staking, with NAV referenced to the CME CF NEAR–Dollar Reference Rate – New York Variant from CF Benchmarks. Coinpedia says launch is expected next week pending additional filings; CoinGape similarly says launch is expected soon pending CERT and other paperwork. Do not invent a first-trade session, AUM, or authorized-participant list Bitwise has not published.

Why the spot tape reacted before the shares did. Coinpedia and CoinGape both put NEAR near $5 after roughly a 20% daily jump, with CoinGape extending the weekly move to about 36% and noting futures open interest near $1.49 billion after an almost 15% rise in the same reporting window. Those are market-price and derivatives prints sitting beside the listing headline—not proof that ETF creations have begun. For NFT desks, NEAR’s move still matters as bid-currency weather: when an L1 that hosts NFT drops, gaming rails, and Intent-style bridges reprices sharply on ETF headlines, collection floors priced in NEAR or bridged dollars digest a different volatility regime than ETH-only sessions.

How this sits against today’s other ETF tape without reprinting it. Sep 25 Ape Index already filed ether ETF $66.1 million fifth-session inflows in LN 9711; Cointelegraph’s parallel Bitcoin wrap puts Thursday spot BTC ETFs near $191 million with a six-session haul past $2.8 billion and year-to-date net flows near $787 million—useful backdrop only. CryptoSlate’s Monday-through-Thursday wrap still has the broader U.S. crypto ETF complex near $3.04 billion for the week with nearly $800 million beyond Bitcoin across ETH, SOL, XRP, and Zcash products. NRR is unused product news: a new altcoin trust ticker clearing Arca, not another daily flow reprint of IBIT or the ether complex already logged this OC morning.

What collectors and marketplace operators should actually watch next. Listing clearance is not the same as continuous trading or sustained creations. Watch for a notice of issuance / first-trade confirmation, any Bitwise launch note that names the custodian and staking partner in plain language, and whether authorized participants begin publishing create/redeem activity once NRR is live. Separately, Ondo’s Intelligent Portfolios powered by BlackRock remain a different Sep 24 RWA file (LN 9675)—tokenized portfolio tokens for eligible non-U.S. investors, not a NYSE Arca NEAR share class. GENIUS Act Fed proposals stay rejected here as a near-echo of Sep 24 Plain English Policy 9690. Magic Eden / Limit Break Payment Processor V2 updates and Quit’s 23,155 NFT rescue stay rejected as near-echos of LN 9707, 9709, and 9721.

Why Ape Index 55 plus Latest News 16 (Editor’s Pick already 5/5—no new 13). Unused desks 59–61 had no clean Phygital, GameFi, or Stablecoin Settlement fit in the last-six-hour window; Ape Index fits a first-of-its-kind NEAR spot ETF listing clearance that reprices an L1 bid currency NFT desks already watch. Author slot is Satoshi’s Wire for desk 55. Publicize stays off.

What not to invent: that shares already traded under NRR today, that the SEC approved the investment merits of the offering, a starting AUM figure beyond any tiny seed disclosure in older filings, or that NEAR’s $5 print equals ETF demand already booked. Stick to NYSE Arca listing clearance, 0.75% fee, 100% staking intent, Form 8-A timing, and attributed spot/futures color.

Bottom line: Bitwise’s NEAR ETF is cleared to list on NYSE Arca as NRR with a 0.75% fee and a full-staking plan—unused Ape Index product news for Sep 25 OC while ether-flow and Limit Break files stay in their own lanes.
