Brich House: Courtyard and Collector Crypt Sold Nine in Ten Packs Straight Back

Brich House’s October Platform Record (chain week 11–17 October 2026, read 18–20 October) puts hard on-chain numbers under two vaulted-card pack platforms: Collector Crypt on Solana and Courtyard on Polygon. Together they logged 353,332 packs paid from a wallet that week, and on both venues about nine packs in ten went straight back to the platform for cash — half of them within roughly half a minute of opening. This is a Phygital custody chapter — buyback speed, vault exits, and what the public chain can (and cannot) prove — not a same-day Collector Crypt volume rehash and not a marketplace fee change.

Collector Crypt (Solana gacha wallet, all storefronts that settle through it): 192,742 packs opened; 97.7% sold straight back (188,247), half within 7 seconds; 1,613 cards burned for physical shipment in 344 co-signed shipments; public index showed 43,764 distinct cert numbers across vault names the platform’s own records list (PSA Vault, OmniVault, PWCC, and others). Courtyard (Polygon): 160,590 wallet-paid packs — 59.6% of 269,548 total packs bought that week (card checkouts are off the priced ratios); 90.0% of those wallet packs sold straight back (144,607), half within 21 seconds; 72.0% of wallet-paid spend returned ($5.79M paid back on $8.04M spent). Courtyard’s marketed “90%” buyback is on card fair-market value, not pack price — Brich House is explicit about that gap.

Custody check (what the chain still hides): Collector Crypt’s index names a vault for nearly every token and shows certs; Courtyard’s token id is a fingerprint hash, so cert numbers are not readable on chain, and redemptions are not separately marked — a second Courtyard wallet burned 26,679 tokens in the week (upper bound only, not a documented ship count). Neither edition publishes an independent shelf count of physical cards behind the tokens. Terms color read 20 Oct: both set purchases final and minimum age 18; Courtyard referral rewards are discretionary/retractable; neither publishes affiliate commission basis or payout cadence in the pages Brich House cited.

For NFT and marketplace desks, the useful cut is inventory-loop risk: sub-minute buybacks at ~90–98% of opened packs mean most “collectors” are recycling cash through the platform, not building long vault holds — and Courtyard’s unreadable certs / unmarked redemptions leave shelf proof thinner than Collector Crypt’s cert index. Do not treat Brich House’s week as today’s Pump.fun spike, and do not treat 72% spend-returned as Courtyard’s advertised 90% FMV buyback rate.

Prior Collector Crypt $24.3M pack-day LN stays a separate single-day volume chapter; today’s beat is the monthly Platform Record week of Oct 11–17 with buyback and vault-exit math. Beezie Base→Solana migration stays its own custody calendar.

Custody check: Watch whether Courtyard publishes a redemption / ship ledger that can be matched on chain, whether Collector Crypt’s next week keeps sub-10-second buyback medians, and whether either platform posts an independent vault inventory count — the desk cares about cert-readable exits and shelf proofs, not pack GMV slogans alone.

Bottom line: Brich House’s Oct week read shows Courtyard and Collector Crypt recycled about nine in ten wallet packs into instant buybacks — with only Collector Crypt proving 1,613 physical ship burns on chain.
