Global NFT sales slipped again this week, but the tape did not look empty. CryptoSlam data captured on September 19 with the seven-day window selected put organic volume at $37.54 million, down 15.28 percent from roughly $44.31 million a week earlier. Buyer addresses jumped 174.04 percent to 114,977 and seller addresses rose 151.72 percent to 108,037, while transaction count fell 9.08 percent to 808,432. More wallets showed up. Fewer dollars cleared. For a Phygital desk that watches vaulted cards and tokenized collectibles, that split is the story.

Courtyard on Polygon kept the collection crown with $6.3 million in sales, down only 0.93 percent. The marketplace logged 123,504 transactions, up 21.52 percent, across 18,459 buyer addresses and 14,921 seller addresses. Those are not profile-picture frenzy prints. They are small, repeatable lots of tokenized physical collectibles moving through a digital wrapper collectors already understand. When speculative art cools, Courtyard-style rails often keep grinding because a graded card is still a card even when it sits in a vault and an NFT points at it.

Ethereum remained the leading chain for organic NFT sales at $15.32 million, a mild 2.66 percent weekly decline, while buyer addresses on the network climbed 63.82 percent to 13,546. Identified wash trading on Ethereum fell 52.41 percent to about $443,802. Polygon ranked second by organic sales with $7.09 million, down 4.88 percent, and 26,588 buyer addresses, up 91.47 percent. CryptoSlam also flagged $18.07 million in Polygon wash volume, a reminder that organic and circular flow should stay in separate columns. Bitcoin placed third at $4.33 million after a 53.99 percent plunge even as Bitcoin NFT buyer addresses rose 141.29 percent to 5,441. BNB Chain printed $2.58 million with buyers up 384.73 percent to 10,732. Base was the only top-five network to grow organic sales, up 4.06 percent to $2.16 million. Solana followed with $1.89 million and 25,301 buyers. Together the six leading networks accounted for about $33.36 million, or nearly 89 percent of the global organic total.

Behind Courtyard, Ethereum-based Argonauts ranked second among collections at $2.74 million after a 36.91 percent slide and only 1,204 transactions. Alchemix V3 Transmuter jumped 622.03 percent to $1.83 million from just eight transactions involving four buyer and three seller addresses. Guild of Guardians Heroes on Immutable generated $986,168 across 689 trades. Panini America, another sports-and-cards name on the phygital side of the board, printed $893,356 with 13,469 transactions even as buyer addresses fell 24.18 percent to 762. CryptoPunks still appeared at $706,667 on nine transactions. Four Alchemix V3 Transmuter tickets dominated the high-value list, led by token 219 at $770,985.44 settled for 297.4017 WETH, with tokens 214, 216, and 208 also clearing six and seven figures. A Bitcoin $X@AI BRC-20 NFT took third place overall at $402,534.35, or 5.19 BTC.

When the weekly leaderboard mixes vaulted cards, game heroes, blue-chip art, and DeFi-linked tokens, readers should separate lanes before calling a boom or a burial. Courtyard and Panini sit in the collectibles lane that keeps high transaction counts without needing a mint frenzy. Punks-style sets can print headlines from a handful of tickets. Protocol positions wrapped as NFTs can outrank artwork on a dashboard without describing collector demand in the usual sense. CryptoSlam classified those Alchemix transfers as NFT sales; the dashboard did not independently prove each ticket was a cultural collectible purchase.

Spot crypto looked firmer than the NFT tape when the snapshot was taken, with Bitcoin near $81,311, Ethereum near $2,647, and total crypto market capitalization near $2.79 trillion on CoinGecko figures cited alongside the CryptoSlam read. Concurrent markets are not the same as causal markets. What the seven-day window does show is uneven NFT demand: participation measures more than doubled while dollar volume fell, Courtyard held the collectibles crown on Polygon, Ethereum kept dollar leadership, and Bitcoin NFT dollars cracked hard after prior strength. For collectors watching phygital rails, the practical read is to track fill quality and ticket size, not only the headline $37.54 million print.
