Dinari plans S&P 500 dShares on Sei with USDC self-custody access

Dinari and Sei said they plan to bring Dinari’s dShares—tokenized U.S. equities—onto the Sei blockchain for eligible U.S. investors, with access through supported self-custody wallets and trading funded in USDC once the integration is live, CryptoTimes reported from the companies’ September 25 announcement. Sei framed the offering as covering companies across the S&P 500. Attribute the planned chain add and USDC path to Dinari / Sei / CryptoTimes—do not invent a confirmed Sei go-live date or claim the full S&P 500 is already live on Sei today.

What is already live elsewhere versus what Sei still awaits. In August, Dinari expanded its catalog to 724 tokenized U.S. stocks and ETFs, including all S&P 500 names, for eligible U.S. investors buying with USDC from self-custody wallets, per Dinari’s August 4 release and CryptoTimes’s Saturday wrap. Dinari has previously listed support on Ethereum, Avalanche, Arbitrum, and Base, with Sei and Solana described as coming soon in that August launch note. CryptoTimes stresses the September 25 Sei news is a planned expansion until dShares actually deploy on the network.

How Dinari describes the custodial model. Dinari’s August release says dShares are backed by corresponding underlying securities held in qualified custody and are designed to preserve traditional stock-ownership features such as NBBO-linked execution, voting rights, dividends, corporate actions, and ownership of the backing security. The same release pairs the retail wallet path with Circle’s USDC and says broker-dealers can license Dinari’s API infrastructure. Native USDC dividend support was part of that U.S. launch framing. Treat those as Dinari’s product claims—verify eligibility and partner apps before assuming any wallet can mint S&P exposure on Sei tomorrow.

Distribution color without inventing Sei volume. BSC News / related wraps relay Sei’s pitch that the integration would add a self-custodial U.S. equity portfolio on the L1 with USDC settlement; some secondary posts add T+0 finality language—attribute finality claims carefully to those secondary wraps, not as a Dinari mainnet metric already measured on Sei. AltCoins Analysis notes Dinari has also been expanding across other 2026 venues, including Arc and Bitcoin.com wallet distribution, but those are separate from the Sei announcement’s live status.

Why this sits apart from today’s other equity-token desks. Coinbase Mag-7 tokenized stocks as Aave V4 Base collateral is LN 9767. Backpack’s 10,000-symbol Solana target is LN 9774. Ethena’s Binance bStocks equity basis is LN 9765. Dinari-on-Sei is unused distribution news: a planned fifth-chain path for an already-live 724-name U.S. dShares catalog, not a reprint of those Base/Solana/Binance files.

Rejected near-echos for this tick. Thin Phygitals One Piece magazine notes stay parked for unused Phygital desk 59. Upland Troves/Uppie prep is LN 9782. Sygnum Protect / Bitget retail pause is LN 9780. Canary’s staked SEI ETF amendment was an earlier Plain English Policy file and is not this Dinari distribution beat—do not merge ETF tape into the dShares announcement.

Why Real-World Utility 53 plus Latest News 16 (no Editor’s Pick—Sep 26 OC EP already 5/5). A planned Sei deployment of Dinari’s S&P 500–inclusive dShares with USDC self-custody settlement is unused RWA tape. Desk 53 already carried Coinbase/Aave and Backpack today; Phygital 59 remains the last unused standout and stays reserved for a stronger vaulted-collectible story. Author is Crypto Wire for desk 53. Publicize stays off.

What not to invent: that Dinari dShares are already live on Sei, a disclosed Sei launch day, Sei trading volume, that every wallet worldwide can buy S&P dShares, or that August’s 724 catalog equals a new Saturday mint. Stick to Dinari / Sei / CryptoTimes / Dinari’s August release for the planned integration, USDC funding, existing four-chain support, and planned-not-live caveat.

Bottom line: Dinari and Sei say S&P 500–inclusive dShares are coming to Sei with USDC self-custody access—planned, not yet live—unused RWA news for Sep 26 OC.
