NFT sales hit $55.5M for the week as CryptoPunks lead collections
By Crypto Wire
September 26, 2026
Global NFT sales printed about $55.51 million over the seven days ending September 26, up 57.17% from the prior week, according to a CryptoSlam dashboard captured the same day and reported by Printhereum. Buyer addresses rose 39.65% to 160,565, seller addresses 39.19% to 150,410, and transactions 5.93% to 825,513. CryptoSlam counts addresses, so those buyer and seller totals do not prove how many unique people traded. Attribute the week wrap to CryptoSlam / Printhereum—do not invent that the bounce alone resets NFT market structure.
Ethereum led chains with roughly $30.33 million in seven-day sales, up 113.52%, on 19,043 buyer addresses (up 40.61%). CryptoSlam separately listed about $1.07 million in wash-trading volume for Ethereum—that measure is not added to the sales print. Polygon placed second at $7.44 million (up 6.66%) with 37,499 buyer addresses, though its listed wash volume sat far higher near $18.50 million; CryptoSlam’s combined “Total” column near $25.94 million is not the same as the $7.44 million sales figure. Bitcoin ranked third at $5.13 million (up 18.33%) with 7,938 buyer addresses. Base followed at $3.30 million (up 87.59%), then BNB Chain $2.66 million, Immutable $2.39 million, and Solana $2.03 million. The six leading chains from Ethereum through Immutable accounted for about $51.23 million of the global $55.51 million.
Collection tape that On-Chain Culture desks care about. Ethereum CryptoPunks led collections with $8.24 million in sales—up about 1,066.53% week-over-week—across 85 transactions, 62 buyer addresses, and 55 seller addresses. Polygon’s Courtyard ranked second at $6.56 million (up 6.67%) even as its 111,471 transactions and 17,014 buyer addresses fell. Ethereum Credits placed third at $5.18 million, then Argonauts at $1.97 million (down 28.61%). Base Beezie ranked fifth with $1.69 million (up 176.70%), and Bored Ape Yacht Club sixth at $1.49 million (up 213.39%) from 79 transactions.
High-ticket concentration still shapes the week. CryptoSlam listed Beezie #4365 as the largest individual sale at $1 million in 1 million USDC on Base—about 59% of Beezie’s weekly collection sales and roughly 1.8% of global seven-day NFT sales. Two Bitcoin $X@AI BRC-20 NFTs followed near $519,364 (~5.9999 BTC) and $409,140 (~5 BTC). Ethereum Alchemix V3 Transmuter #229 printed about $398,081 (149.95 WETH), and a Cardano Warriors Islands asset about $378,237. Those five tickets totaled near $2.70 million, or roughly 4.9% of CryptoSlam’s global week.
Macro backdrop only, not a causal claim. Printhereum notes Bitcoin near $83,914 (up about 3.60% over seven days) and Ether near $2,686 (up about 2.70%), with CoinGecko total crypto market cap near $2.97 trillion at the capture. The NFT bounce and coin prints moved the same week; CryptoSlam does not prove one caused the other.
How to read the week without over-claiming breadth. Buyer addresses jumped much harder than transactions (39.65% vs 5.93%), which can mean more wallets touching the tape rather than denser trading per wallet. Beezie’s weekly collection sales are dominated by one $1 million ticket, and CryptoPunks’ $8.24 million lead sits on only 85 transactions—so culture desks should treat collection ranks as sales-weighted, not as proof of deep, liquid floors across every blue-chip name. Polygon’s Courtyard sales rose even while transaction and buyer-address counts fell, another reminder that dollar volume and activity counts can diverge.
Rejected near-echos for this tick. Quit’s nftsaresafu.xyz claim portal is LN 9761. OpenSea’s Limit Break flag is LN 9753. Coinbase Mag-7 stocks on Aave V4 Base is LN 9767. Ethena’s Binance bStocks equity basis is LN 9765. Backpack’s 10,000-symbol Solana stock target and Dinari’s planned Sei S&P 500 dShares stay alternate unused RWA angles—held so this slot takes the unused CryptoSlam week wrap. Ethena ending ENA incentives for USDe remains a separate stables thread.
Why On-Chain Culture & Lore 54 plus Latest News 16 (no Editor’s Pick—Sep 26 OC EP already 5/5). A CryptoSlam week with CryptoPunks at $8.24 million and global sales near $55.5 million is unused culture-tape news. Desk 54 was unused today among least-used standouts. Author is Crypto Wire for desk 54. Publicize stays off.
What not to invent: that buyer-address counts equal unique humans, that Polygon’s wash-inclusive “Total” equals sales, that Beezie’s $1 million ticket proves broad Base depth, or that the 57% NFT rebound is caused by BTC/ETH’s weekly bounce. Stick to CryptoSlam / Printhereum attributions for the $55.51 million global print, chain ladder, CryptoPunks lead, and top tickets.
Bottom line: CryptoSlam’s Sep. 26 week wrap shows NFT sales near $55.51 million (+57%), with Ethereum and CryptoPunks leading—unused On-Chain Culture news for Sep 26 OC.
