Desk of the Day — Ape Index

CryptoSlam’s seven-day NFT sales board printed about $42.13 million, down roughly 35.37% week over week, even as buyer wallets and transaction counts rose — and Ethereum retook the chain lead while Polygon vaulted collectibles kept Courtyard at the top of the collection table. That unused weekly tape is tonight’s Ape Index file, not another Binance rail recycle or a thin Robinhood mint counter.

What the global meter shows. Per CryptoSlam figures carried in the crypto.news weekly wrap, seven-day NFT sales sat near $42.13 million (−35.37%). Buyer addresses rose about 44.10% to roughly 216,012, sellers climbed about 46.59% to about 192,788, and transactions jumped about 30.54% to roughly 935,198. Dividing the dollar print by that transaction count puts the average recorded ticket near about $45.05 — roughly a 50.5% drop in average transaction value versus the prior week’s dashboard change. More wallets and fills, thinner dollars per fill: that is the Ape Index split to price before any floor cheerleading.

Chain rankings flipped back toward Ethereum. Ethereum led with about $13.17 million in seven-day sales (−about 17.53%), roughly 31.3% of the global total, while buyers on that chain rose about 37.06% to about 35,285. Polygon followed at about $9.40 million (+about 12.43%) with buyers near 49,052 (+about 25.92%). Bitcoin slipped to third at about $6.27 million after an about 79.89% sales drop — reversing the prior weekly snapshot where Bitcoin had overtaken Ethereum — even as Bitcoin-network buyers rose about 57.79% to about 13,540. BNB Chain printed about $3.99 million (+about 22.48%) with the largest buyer-percentage jump among the eight leading nets shown (~213.46% to about 37,204). Base sat near $1.96 million (+about 31.49%); Solana near $1.41 million (+about 18.55%) with about 58,708 buyers — the highest buyer count among those smaller nets in the wrap.

Collection tape stayed Courtyard-led. Courtyard topped the seven-day collection board with about $8.58 million (+about 13.50%), roughly 20.4% of global sales, across about 138,227 Polygon transactions. Buyers there sat near 18,637 (−about 7.61%) and sellers near 15,630 (+about 1.01%), for an average Courtyard ticket near about $62.07. Second-ranked $8888 BRC-20 NFTs generated about $2.82 million from a single transaction — the same print that led individual sales at about $2,820,105.64 (about 34.845 BTC), nearly 45% of Bitcoin’s weekly sales and about 6.7% of global volume. Panini America followed at about $2.50 million (+about 878.60%) with transactions surging about 1,048.91% to roughly 162,685. CryptoPunks printed about $2.01 million (+about 22.83%) across 28 transactions; Bored Ape Yacht Club sat near $1.35 million (−about 62.29%) across 87 fills.

Other named tickets on the individual board, still attributed to the CryptoSlam wrap: Uniswap V3 Positions NFT-V1 #443 at about $1 million (USDC); a $X@AI BRC-20 entry near $420,322 (about 5.2542 BTC); WrappedSuperRare #1763 near $400,435; Bored Ape Yacht Club #3439 near $203,022 (about 86.5 WETH); and CryptoPunks #8879 near $106,328 (about 45 ETH). Those are single-sale prints, not collection floors — keep them separate from Courtyard’s high-velocity Polygon pack tape.

What this piece will not invent: a live CryptoSlam HTML scrape beyond the published wrap’s attributed figures, a claim that Bitcoin’s buyer rise offsets its nearly 80% sales collapse, or a statement that Courtyard’s lead equals wash-free organic demand without CryptoSlam’s own wash filters. Prefer the dashboard’s dollar, buyer, seller, and transaction prints — and the named Courtyard / Ethereum / single-sale hierarchy — over narrative that converts activity spikes into a bull-market floor story.

Tape watch: Watch whether the next CryptoSlam seven-day board holds Ethereum above Polygon and Bitcoin after this $42.13 million / −35.37% print, whether Courtyard stays above about $8 million weekly, and whether average ticket size stabilizes above the ~$45 level after the ~50% average-value cut.

Bottom line: CryptoSlam’s latest seven-day board shows about $42.13 million in NFT sales (−about 35%) with rising wallets and fills, Ethereum back on top near $13.17 million, and Courtyard still leading collections near $8.58 million.
