BEARISH Opens One-Click Ethereum Migration as Abstract Shutdown Nears

BEARISH is moving its full 8,888-bear collection and BURR token from Igloo’s dying Abstract L2 to Ethereum, according to the project’s @bearish_af posts and desk coverage from CryptoGames.gg. The migration snapshot was set for October 20, 00:00 UTC (5:00 p.m. PDT Monday), with claims opening October 20, 16:00 UTC at bearish.af/den/migrate. OpenSea trading of the Abstract bears was slated to stop late Monday. The move is a direct Abstract-ecosystem chapter after Igloo’s December 15 chain-halt clock — see prior desk LNs 10598 and 10571.

“Same bears. Bigger chain. One click,” the team wrote. Holders connect the Abstract wallet that held their bears (Abstract Global Wallet, Safe, or a regular wallet), pick an Ethereum destination, sign one free message, and press Migrate — no bridge hop. All bears keep their IDs and each still carries 10,001 BURR. Hibernating bears stay asleep through the move; HiBEARnation reward claims that paused on Abstract October 9 are meant to resume on Ethereum. Last call is December 16, 00:00 UTC: bears and BURR not claimed by then go to the team wallet. Abstract Global Wallet / Safe signers need their message in by December 12.

Fee design is the culture pitch for the rebuild. During the migration window the team says 100% of NFT royalties, Uniswap v4 pool fees, Bring a Bear sale ETH, and Fur Keeps fees go back into the BURR/ETH pool, with 0% to the team. Once the pool holds about 15%–20% of BURR’s total value, the split flips to 70% toward a BEARISH ETH rewards program and 30% toward a tokenization system. Separately, 500 new bears sell to Abstract XP holders at 0.015 ETH from Oct. 20 16:30 UTC through Oct. 23 16:30 UTC — 30-day lock, day-90 price shield if the bear’s BURR value sits under mint.

Why leave: Igloo announced Abstract’s Dec. 15 shutdown, and BEARISH is treating that as an exit, not an epitaph. Bears stay on Ethereum; BURR is meant to follow the team’s game rails next — Robinhood Chain for cubes.fun on Oct. 29, then Solana and Arc. The team thanked OpenSea for migration help and warned that any “claim now” post before Oct. 20, 16:00 UTC is fake, and that the project never DMs first. Only use bearish.af.

For Abstract collectors, this is a concrete migration receipt — not a vibe post. Confirm the claim page after 16:00 UTC Tuesday, verify your Abstract holdings against the snapshot, and treat any early claim links as phishing until that window opens. Unclaimed inventory after Dec. 16 is the hard stop, not Dec. 15’s chain halt alone.

Lore thread: Watch whether claims actually clear after Oct. 20 16:00 UTC, whether OpenSea’s Abstract listings stay dark as promised, and whether BEARISH publishes on-chain proof that all 8,888 IDs plus BURR balances match “same numbers” on Ethereum before the Dec. 16 forfeiture clock.

Bottom line: BEARISH is exiting Abstract for Ethereum with a Oct. 20 snapshot and 16:00 UTC claim open — a one-click migration for 8,888 bears and BURR ahead of Igloo’s Dec. 15 chain halt, with unclaimed assets forfeited Dec. 16.
