Gigaverse Sets Convert-Only Giga Legends Mint as ROM Floor Falls About 42%

Gigaverse just made the Abstract shutdown clock a conversion decision, not only a wallet-link deadline. A Friday wrap from BlockchainGamerBiz says the studio’s new flagship Ethereum collection — Giga Legends — will have no allowlist and no public sale. From November 16 through December 1, Legends can only be obtained by converting existing Gigaverse assets: original Ethereum GLHFers airdrop one-for-one when the window closes (keeping existing art), while Abstract-based ROMs burn for points, with 24 points required per Legend. Tier points run from 3 for the most common Silver ROMs to 36 for the rarest Voids, with leftover points spendable on gacha machines or transferable to another wallet. That is the unused product fact after Thursday’s Nov. 15 Abstract Global Wallet deadline chapter.

The market print landed as hard as the mint rules. BlockchainGamerBiz puts the ROM floor down about 42 percent in the twenty-four hours after the announcement, to about 0.027 ETH (~$61), with trading volume up more than 2,000 percent — about 138 sales in a day versus 27 over the prior six days. GLHFers fell about 23 percent to roughly 0.245 ETH (~$546). A separate CoinGecko-style OpenSea check into the Orange County morning still showed Gigaverse ROMs near about 0.027 ETH floor with roughly 8.4 ETH twenty-four-hour volume and about 138 sales — treat those as live venue meters, not a finished conversion receipt. Eight cheapest ROMs now cost roughly 0.22 ETH versus about 0.24 ETH for a single GLHFer, so the two routes into Legends price near parity on the secondary tape.

Product framing matters for collectors stuck on Abstract. Gigaverse says Legends will earn no yield and are pitched as a purely collector-grade asset, with supply fixed once the window closes and no further Gigaverse collections planned. About 300 GLHFers held by the GLHFSTR token project will not convert; that project’s token holders receive points instead. Cofounder Dith said rewarding outside player and partner communities was considered but rejected because it “would just dilute the conversion for our holders.” ROMs that are not converted will be lost when Abstract goes offline, because those wallets cannot be recognized on Ethereum — the same chain-death logic already on the Igloo / Abstract Story Tracker.

Do not mash this into a free public mint or a guaranteed floor reclaim. The studio’s line that an ecosystem asset “shouldn’t rise and fall with one product’s economy” and that “new players shouldn’t need an old NFT to compete” is company framing for the shift toward Gigaverse Online, not proof secondary bids healed. Keep the Nov. 15 AGW wallet-link / redemption-pause clock labeled separately from the Nov. 16–Dec. 1 Legends conversion window — two calendars, one Abstract exit.

Adjacent desks stay labeled. Binance’s multi-point breach / ~45-hour withdrawal reopen trail and FREEDZ’s five-faction reveal remain separate Orange County files and do not rewrite Abstract conversion math. Bearish Ethereum migration chapters and the Dec. 15 Abstract halt stay on the same Igloo tracker. This chapter only updates Gigaverse after the Legends mint rules and the ROM/GLHFer tape reaction.

Conversion windows can outrun floors. A ~0.027 ETH ROM ask is not a finished burn-for-points receipt, and a Nov. 16 open can still slip. If Gigaverse prints a dated conversion UI, a refreshed point table, or a post-window supply lock, that belongs in a follow-on chapter; this update keeps the published mint path and the verified secondary shock.

World watch: Watch whether ROM holders clear the Nov. 15 AGW path in time to reach the Nov. 16–Dec. 1 Legends burn window — and whether the ~0.027 ETH ROM floor holds or keeps sliding as Abstract’s exit clock tightens.

Bottom line: Gigaverse set a convert-only Giga Legends mint for Nov. 16–Dec. 1 (GLHFer 1:1; ROMs burn for 24 points) as Abstract ROMs slid about 42 percent to ~0.027 ETH on a volume spike — a new GameFi chapter on the shutdown clock, not a public sale.
