Hyperliquid Schedules 11 EQX Tokenized Stock and ETF Markets for Monday

UPDATE — Hyperliquid is set to open 11 USDC-denominated spot markets for EQX Labs tokenized equity products on Monday, October 26, at 9:30 a.m. ET (13:30 UTC), according to TokenPost and EQX’s own schedule. The HIP-1 markets cover two index trackers — EQSPY (S&P 500) and EQQQQ (Nasdaq 100) — plus single-name rails tied to Nvidia, Tesla, Apple, Microsoft, Amazon, Alphabet, Meta, Micron, and SpaceX under tickers including EQNVDA, EQTSLA, EQAAPL, EQMSFT, EQAMZN, EQGOOG, EQMETA, EQMU, and EQSPCX. Treat Monday’s open as a scheduled venue listing until the order book prints live fills.
EQX Labs frames the products as the highest-trust, lowest-cost path it can offer today for spot U.S. equities on Hyperliquid: every token is said to be backed 1:1 by real shares held at DTC-member custodians, with backing checkable down to broker statements, and with no EQX issuer fees on create, redeem, or hold. Docs name custody at Alpaca Securities LLC, Clear Street LLC, and StoneX Financial Ltd, and say dividends are reinvested into more of the same shares while holders can submit voting instructions with a free signature. Creation and redemption are reserved for authorized participants in-kind at zero EQX fees; everyone else trades the Hyperliquid order book. Attribute those custody and dividend mechanics as issuer claims until Monday’s markets and public backing pages show reconciled share counts.
The legal wrap is the desk’s hard caveat. EQX says each token is a limited-recourse debt instrument of EQX SPC Ltd., a British Virgin Islands segregated portfolio company owned by a Cayman Islands purpose trust — not direct stock ownership and not the same security as the underlying share. Tokens are not offered to U.S. persons, persons in the United States, BVI residents, or sanctioned persons under the published eligibility rules. EQX Labs, Inc. (New York) provides technology under a services agreement with the issuer and says it earns a share of Hyperliquid’s trading fee rather than charging separate issuer fees. That structure matters for collectors comparing these rails to broker-held shares or to other tokenized-stock venues that already drew issuer objections elsewhere this month.
Venue context: Hyperliquid already carries heavy RWA perpetual share battles and recently revised testnet action priority with agent-signed cDeposit2 in the desk’s prior LN — Hyperliquid Revises Testnet Action Priority and Adds Agent-Signed cDeposit2. Monday’s EQX HIP-1 spot books add a different product surface: USDC-quoted equity exposure on a public order book that EQX says never closes for nights, weekends, and holidays, with sub-second settlement claimed on the issuer site. KuCoin flash coverage separately noted the tokens were already registered and listed on Hyperliquid mainnet ahead of matching — useful if true, but still not the same as continuous two-sided liquidity after 9:30 a.m. ET.
For NFT and crypto collectors, the bid relevance is venue access and settlement asset, not a new PFP mint: USDC depth on Hyperliquid, spreads on EQSPY/EQQQQ versus traditional ETF hours, and whether non-U.S. wallets actually find size after the bell. Watch also how EQX’s “debt claim backed by shares” language sits beside competing tokenized-stock stories — including Robinhood Chain stock-token volume and OKXICE issuer-objection tallies already on the desk — without collapsing distinct legal wrappers into one headline.
Venue watch: Confirm Monday’s 9:30 a.m. ET open prints real USDC order-book depth on all 11 EQX markets, re-check the public share-backing pages after the first create/redeem window, and watch whether Hyperliquid widens or tightens fees as the equity books compete with weekend RWA perp tape.
Bottom line: Hyperliquid plans to open 11 EQX Labs USDC spot markets for tokenized U.S. stocks and ETFs at 9:30 a.m. ET Monday — share-backed 1:1 per the issuer, structured as BVI limited-recourse debt, and closed to U.S. persons until the books prove live depth.
