Mudwater Keeps BAYC Solana Pack Claims Open Through January 2027

Yuga Labs’ Mudwater: Swamp Origins — a physical-and-digital BAYC trading-card set on Solana — is still in an open holder claim window through January 19, 2027, 00:00 UTC, with an Oct. 23 how-to wrap from NFT Culture built on the official Mudwater site and Quit’s launch thread. Each Bored Ape can claim 10 packs; each Mutant Ape can claim 2; each pack holds 10 cards. Claims run on Ethereum via ape-bound Totems (ERC-6551); packs land as Solana NFTs for on-chain rips. This is a Phygital chapter: one shared physical/digital supply — not a new Courtyard pack SKU and not a Collector Crypt volume reprint.

Set map from the same materials: 120 card designs across Club, Mutant, Cosmic, and Arcana; about 2.4 million cards including foils and serialized editions; eight serialized “cracked ice” 1/1s at the top. Fixed box supply is 10,000 boxes × 24 packs = 240,000 packs, with a large community airdrop tranche and a 20% commercial reserve. Desk cut that holders miss: unclaimed packs travel with the ape, not the wallet — sell or re-delegate before claiming and the packs go with the NFT. Only a shadow (exclusive) delegate at delegate.xyz works for cold-wallet claims. Every digital pack is framed as backed by a sequential physical rip; redeeming a token for the printed card burns the digital version. Trades carry a 2.5% reflection that buys APE for holders of tokenized packs/boxes/cases, plus a separate royalty line. Desk rule: treat supply charts and APE-reflection math as project materials, not audited EV; do not invent claim completion rates or secondary floors the primaries have not published.

For phygital desks, the signal is entitlement plumbing: BAYC’s first Solana card set welds free packs to the ape via Totems and CCIP delivery, with a Jan. 19 UTC hard stop still months out. Keep separate from Fuzzy Cards XRPL burn-to-physical (11014), Courtyard F1 packs (11047), and Gorecats/Collector Crypt prize loops (11043). Payment Processor–rescued apes can still claim once recovered, per Quit — background for the Yuga rescue file, not today’s beat.

For Phygital desks, the cut is ape-bound inventory: Mudwater puts warehouse-backed Solana packs behind BAYC/MAYC Totems — claim on Ethereum, rip on Solana, packs follow the NFT until Jan. 19 UTC.

World watch: Watch whether Yuga posts dated claim-completion totals before the deadline; whether physical redemption queues clear cleanly at scale; and whether sealed-box/case tokens and weekly APE reflection payouts show up on secondary tape.

Bottom line: Mudwater keeps BAYC/MAYC pack claims open through Jan. 19, 2027 UTC — Ethereum Totems to Solana packs, physical rips paired 1:1.
