Nomgar Clash goes live on Ronin with NFT burn forge and 1.2M bRON ladder

GameFi desk is logging a Ronin launch that turns existing gaming NFTs into playable cards. Moku’s Nomgar Clash is live on Ronin as a browser-based strategy game: build an 8-card deck, deploy troops, spells, and buildings, and break the opponent’s Nexus. Ronin’s official newsletter dated September 16 says the first days are an open playtest, with the official leaderboard starting September 18 at 00:00 UTC.

The NFT angle is the Forge. Players can select an eligible gaming NFT, pay a small Gem fee, and burn it to mint a new Nomgar NFT into the same wallet. Season-one supported collections include Ragnarok: Monster World Ragmons, Tribesters Companions, Wildlings characters, The Machines Arena skins and familiars, Apeiron Planets and Apostles, and Fishing Frenzy Founders Pass. Ragmons get 1:1 unique Nomgars; other collections unlock corresponding units—for example, burning an Apeiron Planet or Apostle unlocks Ape the Iron Planet.

Deck depth matters: Ronin lists 51 cards to unlock, with upgrades that make duplicates useful. Integrated troops such as Moki, Ronke, and Schiffy can also drop through in-game Piñatas, so NFT burns are not the only collection path. The competitive purse is explicit: 1.2 million bRON across six weeks, with 200K bRON to the top 100 players each week and the leaderboard resetting every Friday at 00:00 UTC. Top-100 finishers also earn one Grand Arena S2 Pack, later distributed to the placing wallet when S2 begins—packs that will contain shares of Mokis on a bonding curve rather than a fixed Season 1-style NFT card set.

Why collectors should care: this is a live burn-to-play bridge between several Ronin gaming collections and a new competitive loop with disclosed weekly bRON. Burning is irreversible—treat Forge fees and eligibility lists as hard constraints before sacrificing a Ragmon or Apeiron piece for a Nomgar unit. Do not invent floor-impact numbers; Ronin’s post does not publish Gem fee amounts or expected sell-side volume for burned collections.

Practical checklist: confirm your collection is on the season-one Forge list, calendar the September 18 leaderboard open, plan for Friday resets if you are chasing the weekly top 100, and separate open playtest fun from rewarded weeks. Watch how Grand Arena S2 Pack bonding-curve shares land for wallets that place—another reason competitive finish matters beyond the weekly 200K bRON split.

For the GameFi desk, Nomgar Clash is a verified Ronin live wire: browser battles, NFT burn forge, and a six-week 1.2M bRON ladder. Until fee schedules and secondary Nomgar tape show up, log the mechanics and keep burn decisions collection-specific.
