OKXICE Issuer Objections Rise to 33 as JPMorgan, Coca-Cola, and Dell Opt Out

OKXICE TSV — the tokenized-stock venue jointly owned by OKX and Intercontinental Exchange — disclosed 33 issuer objections in a public notice dated October 27, up from 26 a day earlier and from the 22-objector chapter that closed October 23. The latest seven named additions are JPMorgan Chase, Advanced Micro Devices, Applied Materials, Coca-Cola, Adobe, Dell Technologies, and Sandisk, according to CoinDesk, Decrypt, and CoinMarketCap wraps of the venue notice.

CoinDesk’s roster math puts the pressure on the original launch set: about 30 of the 62 companies first proposed for trading have now opted out (~48%), while a few earlier objectors such as Wells Fargo and Arm were never on that initial roster. The October 26 notice had already added IBM, IonQ, Oracle, and Intel on the climb from 22 to 26. Notices still do not publish issuer reasons.

Under the SEC’s temporary Innovation Exemption for tokenized securities venues, a timely written objection bars OKXICE from making available a third-party-tokenized version of that issuer’s stock on this venue — it is not a ban on tokenization generally. A JPMorgan spokesperson told CoinDesk the bank remains interested in tokenization but “decided not to participate in this venue at this stage.” Separately, desks note JPMorgan is among firms tied to DTCC’s newer tokenization service lane — keep OKXICE objections and DTCC rails labeled as different products.

The venue plan is unchanged in outline: permissioned automated market maker pools on XLayer, tokenized stocks against supported payment stablecoins (notices still cite examples such as USDC and USDG), under the five-year SEC exemption through September 17, 2031. OKXICE LLC remains described as 50% ICE / 50% OKC USA Holding. The notice restates that the venue is not SEC-registered for these exemption activities and that the Commission has not passed on the merits of its disclosures. No dated public launch list accompanies the October 27 objection print.

Keep adjacent desks labeled. Ondo’s Robinhood Chain stock-token pools and Strategy’s preferred daily-dividend vote are separate RWA chapters. Robinhood listing synthetic objector tokens on its own chain is a different product structure from SEC-exemption TSVs that require issuer notice. Tonight’s primary is OKXICE’s objection tally moving 22 → 26 → 33 across the October 23–27 notice ladder.

The climb is now a week-plus story with receipts. The venue’s October 19 notice named 16 objectors including Microsoft, Alphabet, Goldman Sachs, and Broadcom; October 23 printed 22 after Wells Fargo, Arm, and Intuit joined the public list; October 26 hit 26; and October 27 cleared 33. Prefer the dated OKXICE notice ladder and named-issuer tallies over social claims that invent a settled launch book or a venue-wide tokenization ban.

Utility check: Watch whether OKXICE posts another objection notice before remaining 30-day clocks expire, and whether a dated launch roster appears with the thinning original 62-name set — a deeper opt-out without a live XLayer book leaves the Innovation Exemption sandbox thinner for collectors hunting tokenized blue-chip exposure on this venue.

Bottom line: OKXICE’s October 27 notice lifts disclosed issuer objections to 33, adding JPMorgan, Coca-Cola, Dell, AMD, Adobe, Applied Materials, and Sandisk after the prior climb through 22 and 26.
